The Safe Sanctuary: Accessible Ensuite Bathroom Renovation After a Fall
A thoughtfully designed ensuite for safer, more comfortable bathing
The challenge:
Our solution:
Working closely with the client and her family, we redesigned the ensuite to reduce risk and improve usability. We replaced the original bi-fold enclosure with a smooth sliding shower door, and lowered the step-in height to just 30mm for safer access. A new thermostatic shower with integrated grab support added comfort and peace of mind.
The full refurbishment included new sanitaryware, fitted furniture, a refreshed ceiling, upgraded lighting, and an illuminated mirror cabinet with demister and shaver socket. All flooring was removed, the concrete base excavated, and the ensuite fully installed in just five days.

We provided a clean, practical space that looks fantastic and feels even better to use.
